Free Books for Review

Manning provides free books to user groups in exchange for written published reviews. Use these copies for meeting giveaways, for group libraries, or for door prizes - any legit way you want. Constructive feedback from knowledgeable readers, whether positive or negative, is invaluable to us and helps us improve the quality of our books.

Review Terms (how to get free books and keep them coming!) Please start by registering with our user group program below.
Start by choosing one book title published in the last 12 months (dates are on the book pages) and send your request to Helen Trimes. Include the reviewer's name, address, user group affiliation, and an email address for follow up. Review copies are available in ebook edition and/or print edition. We cannot ship review copies outside our normal distribution territories. Foreign requests may be limited to ebooks.

Please also send a copy to Helen Trimes. We reserve the right to use quotes from reviews in promotional materials, but most of all, we do pass reviews along to the editors and authors as valuable feedback. We expect reviews to be published within 60 days of receipt of the book.

Author Presentations

Manning authors are among the most knowledgeable experts in their fields -- and entertaining as well. We would be happy to arrange speaking engagements at local user group meetings in their home area. To see where our authors are currently scheduled to speak visit our Authors Calendar.
