Benefits
Manning supports the grassroots efforts of the User Group community with free book donations and more. If you are a group leader and your group meets regularly, communicates news to members, and is willing to write and publish book reviews in return for free books, register your group today! Sign up for the usergroup program now! Free Books for ReviewManning provides free books to user groups in exchange for written published reviews. Use these copies for meeting giveaways, for group libraries, or for door prizes - any legit way you want. Constructive feedback from knowledgeable readers, whether positive or negative, is invaluable to us and helps us improve the quality of our books. Review Terms (how to get free books and keep them coming!)
Please start by registering with our user group program below. Please also send a copy to Helen Trimes. We reserve the right to use quotes from reviews in promotional materials, but most of all, we do pass reviews along to the editors and authors as valuable feedback. We expect reviews to be published within 60 days of receipt of the book. Author PresentationsManning authors are among the most knowledgeable experts in their fields -- and entertaining as well. We would be happy to arrange speaking engagements at local user group meetings in their home area. To see where our authors are currently scheduled to speak visit our Authors Calendar. Free Chapters, Web graphics, and MoreNeed to dress up your group's website? We have some cool new Manning User Group graphics to download and post. Interested in a chapter on a special topic of interest to your members? Just ask and we will arrange the PDF download for sharing. Watch for other freebie and contest announcements in the future. Attention JUGs: Attention Perl Mongers: Attention .NET UGs: We look forward to supporting your group with new books, author visits and all the rest! If you have further questions not answered here, please contact Helen Trimes. |
